„Acting Out" gravitează în jurul relației dintre artist și corpul său pe scenă, inspirat de ideile revoluționare ale lui Esther Magyar-Gonda, un nume de referință în dansul românesc. Viața lui Esther, caracterizată de activism politic, pasiune pentru artă și dedicare pentru educație, conturează imaginea unei artiste complexe, a cărei existență a fost strâns legată de evenimente istorice importante și provocări personale. Arestată pentru activități antifasciste și deportată în Transnistria din cauza originii evreiești, după aceste experiențe, a renunțat la cariera de dansatoare și s-a dedicat dezvoltării și coordonării scenei coregrafice oficiale din România. Recunoscută pentru contribuțiile sale inovatoare la dansul modern și contemporan din România, Esther Magyar-Gonda a dezvoltat o apreciere profundă și originală pentru gest și mișcare expresivă.
Lupta ei personală este oglindită în relația actriței Katia Pascariu cu propria ei istorie și contestarea unui anumit stil de teatralitate și a unei corporalități tipice. Spectacolul subliniază rezistența artistei în fața dificultăților și legătura sa cu arta performativă și educația.
„Acting Out" propune o explorare în profunzime a legăturii dintre dans, corp, istorii locale și sentimentul de alienare, unde dansul este perceput ca o expresie a muncii și a materialismului care chestionează conceptele tradiționale transcendente și viscerale ale corpului.

„Acting Out" are la bază o cercetare de arhivă, materialele din Arhiva Centrului Național al Dansului București fiind cruciale pentru echipa artistică în elaborarea acestui spectacol.

Ediția pornește de la conceptul de 𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐞 – înțeles ca un spațiu real (nu utopic, adică fără loc), dar încărcat de straturi simbolice și potențialități, care reflectă societatea din care face parte.

𝐴 𝐶𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑢𝑙 𝐷𝑖𝑎𝑙𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑐 𝑒́𝑠 𝑎 𝑇𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑧𝑖𝑡 𝐻𝑎́𝑧 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑑𝑢𝑘𝑐𝑖𝑜́𝑗𝑎
Az "Acting Out" témája a művész és annak színpadi teste közötti kapcsolat. Az előadást a román táncművészet egyik meghatározó figurájának, Magyar-Gonda Eszternek a forradalmi gondolatai ihlettek. Eszter élete, amelyet a politikai aktivizmus, a művészet iránti szenvedély és az oktatás iránti elkötelezettség jellemez, egy olyan összetett művész alakját rajzolja meg, akinek a léte jelentős történelmi eseményekkel és személyes kihívásokkal fonódott össze. Esztert zsidó származása, valamint antifasiszta tevékenysége miatt letartóztatták és Transznisztriába deportálták. E tapasztalatok után feladta táncosnői pályafutását, és a romániai hivatalos koreográfiai szcéna fejlesztésének és koordinálásának szentelte életét. Magyar-Gonda Eszter tevékenységét a gesztusok és az expresszív mozgás iránti mély és eredeti érdeklődés jellemezte, romániai modern és kortárs tánchoz való innovatív hozzájárulása általánosan elismertté tette ezen a téren.
Személyes küzdelme tükröződik Katia Pascariu színésznőnek a saját történetéhez való viszonyában, amelynek keretét a teatralitás és egy bizonyos, tipikusnak mondható testiség problematizálása, megkérdőjelezése adja. Az előadás rávilágít a művésznő nehézségekkel szembeni ellenállóképességére, valamint az előadóművészethez és a neveléshez való kötődésére is.
Az "Acting Out" a tánc, a test, a lokális történetek és az elidegenedés érzése közötti kapcsolatokat járja körül és tárja fel, miközben a táncot a munkának, és egy olyan materializmusnak a kifejeződéseként fogja fel, amely megkérdőjelezi a test hagyományos transzcendens és zsigeri fogalmait.

Az „Acting Out" archívumkutatáson alapul. A bukaresti Nemzeti Táncközpont archívumának anyagai kulcsfontosságúak voltak a művészeti csapat számára az előadás kidolgozásában.

A Tranzit Napok ezévi kiadása a heterotópia fogalmára alapul. A heterotópia fogalma olyan valósan létező, tehát nem utópisztikus tereket jelöl, amelyek több szálon kötődnek a körülöttük lévő társadalomhoz, mégis olyan metszéspontokat hoznak létre, amelyek a máshol és nélkülük nem jöhetnének létre.
Zenével, előadásokkal, kerekasztal beszélgetésekkel, könyvbemutatókkal és kiállításokkal ünnepeljük a Tranzit Ház 28 éves születésnapját.

"Acting Out” revolves around the relationship between the artist and his body on stage, inspired by the revolutionary ideas of Esther Magyar-Gonda, a reference name in Romanian dance. Esther's life, characterized by political activism, passion for art and dedication to education, portrays a complex artist whose existence was closely linked to important historical events and personal challenges. Arrested for anti-fascist activities and deported to Transnistria because of her Jewish origin, after these experiences she gave up her career as a dancer and dedicated herself to developing and coordinating the official choreographic scene in Romania. Recognized for her innovative contributions to modern and contemporary dance in Romania, Esther Magyar-Gonda has developed a deep and original appreciation for gesture and expressive movement.
Her personal struggle is mirrored in actress Katia Pascariu's relationship to her own history and her contestation of a certain style of theatricality and typical corporeality. The performance highlights the artist's resilience in the face of difficulties and her connection to performance art and education.
"Acting Out" proposes an in-depth exploration of the connection between dance, the body, local histories and the sense of alienation, where dance is perceived as an expression of labour and materialism that questions traditional transcendent and visceral concepts of the body.

The "Acting Out" is based on archival research. The materials from the Bucharest National Dance Center's archive were crucial for the artistic team in developing the performance.
